Nothing new here. But if Kerry, or Dean, or Hillary, etc. make a slip of the tongue, all hell breaks loose.

On NPR today Bush referred to Cheney's attitude on Iraq as a "Half Glass Full" guy.

Slips of the tongue can be very telling.

Iraq is a half a glass, and it is full.

indeed, i heard way WAY to much of that Wdiot on NPR today. not a tax hike, oh no, it's just rewriting the tax code.
ASSHOLE.
watching the berlin airlift and all i can think of is NOLA and the fucking halfassed job the georgie assministration did.

Hi Pansy,

Couldn't agree more. Now if we could talk about the idjits that believe the platitudes......

I can't remember who it was that said it, but I remember hearing a radio interview quite a few years back that said that the real idea is that the government provides certain services. Taxes are how the govt gets the money to provide those services that most individuals couln't provide on their own. [I like having fire protection. Not to mention that I actually save money on my insurance because I live near a firehouse]. And that the Dems had never found the way to sell that way of looking at it.

Instead, the Repubs seem to like selling the idea that you're gonna get things without paying for them.
