How much are traffickers getting for air these days?

Personally, I think he's got to do more than inconvenience those traffickers in air. Mr. President, come down hard on them!

Yes it is President Yoda:

There is no think. Only do.

"You know, what's interesting is you don't hear a lot of debate about Washington as to what will happen if there is failure."

What do you mean "if", asswipe?

"...and it's a very important part of helping change the Middle East into a part of the world that will not serve as a threat to the civilized world, to people like ..."

Did Bushie Boy just imply the Middle East isn't civilized? Time to backpedal...

"-- or to the developed world, to people like..."

Oh, they're just not developed. Maybe they would be surprised to hear that, but anyway, it still doesn't solve the problem that he doesn't know how to end this sentence...

"-- in the United States."

Ahh, close enough for government work.

I believe that Bush thinks that if he says something often enough it will turn out to be true. There's no other explanation for statements like "Iraq is a very important part of securing the homeland."

Ignoring the fascistic sounds of "securing the homeland" as language, and focusing on the idea of preventing future attacks on America, there is no way that this statement of his could possibly make sense. When people think about making America safe, they think about our borders, things that come into our country (freight, for instance), things that are already in our country. A nation on the other side of the world is not a part of that any way you look at it with a rational mind.
