Just think about how close we came to this dumb jerk becoming a member of the Supreme Court. If he weren't so valuable to Bush for keeping him out of jail, he would be sitting alongside Thomas now.

Seems he has been true to form. 10 minutes as AG in Washington spent on determing the appropriateness of Justice seeking a death penalty in a case but not bothering to review the case. Seems I recall that is about the maxixum time he spent reviewing with Bush clemency appeals on death sentences with Bush in Texas. Real bleeding hearts them is.
