Poll: Majority say feds not doing enough to rebuild Gulf Coast

Tancredo and ClownHall may be vocal but they represent few when calling for an end to federal aid for New Orleans  according to an August CNN/ Opinion Research Corporation poll.....

Thinking about the efforts the federal government is making to rebuild areas damaged by Hurricane Katrina, do you think the federal government is doing too much, is doing the right amount, or has not done enough?

8/6-8/2007        Too Much--10%

                        Right Amount--33%

                        Not Enough--52%

                        Unsure--5%

8/18-20/2006    Too Much--10%

                        Right Amount--31%

                        Not Enough--56%

                        Unsure--3%

 

Those who view federal aid as "too much" is holding steady at 10%.

In the future I'll be referring to the "compassionate conservatives" who call for ending federal aid as the margin dwellers of The 10% Gang or for short....un-American assholes.
