Very cool - thanks. I still play my vinyl.
FYI, good New Yorker short story this week about New Orleans. I remember the morning after 9/11 there were trucks backed up on all approaches to the city headed to clean up the site - spontaneously. And here we are, years later and NOLA continues to struggle and slide...
On the plus side we may be about to get a long overdue and much needed change to this country courtesy of something I thought we'd lost - the common sense of the American people. Landslide in November.

OMG! I have never had that happen before (have something I sent become a post! yes, I am a dork, why do you ask?)! :) Okay, w/that energy, I am grabbing my voter's reg card and biffing down the road a whopping mile to cast my primary ballot!
If anyone wants to see the cake I did for the competition last weekend, check out my myspace page it's my default photo. No, didn't win bupkis, but I learned a lot.
Okay, off to get that vote cast.
Peace and blessings for blowing the doors off of Conservativeville!!!

For xmas I received a USB turntable!!! Granted, I have yet to hook it up..."I can has professional organizer plz? kthxbai!" Then I would at least have room for it! ;) I can't wait to trot out all of my old 12" singles and capture them digitally!
Dominatrix, Yello, Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Duran Duran...wow...

We have two turntables at my house and thousands of vinyl records in the basement.
My husband does a fair bit of traveling and hits up used records stores in many cities to fill out his collection. We have about as many CDs and almost all of his stuff is on his iPod.
He has almost all of the albums listed on the sleeve page (except for Barry Manilow and Andy Williams).
