The Mad Hungarian *is* Senator Walnuts or at least his less evil twin...

mccain has a TEMPERAMENT COACH?

i'm screaming laughing at that one!

After Sunday's Saints game, some friends of mine and I went down to Johnny White's and tore it up pretty good. I spent all of Monday morning with the worst sort of hangover (the kind you have to work during). I tried to garner sympathy from my co-workers by telling them tha this hangover was "my Katrina". Somehow that didn't work out like I thought it would.

shit ... i googled and discover you were just making a funny ...

sorry, sports apparently ain't my thing.

google is my very good friend. disabuses me of falsehoods and lets me in on the funnies.

Every nutcase candidate needs a Mad Hungarian

Great post, oyster.

georgee's september surprise may not work as well as iWaq did.

You know what Winston Churchill said about Al Hrabosky? Second-class curveball, first-class mustache.

Does Ned Lamont mean that Greenwich, Connecticut has dead hedge-fund managers floating in the street?

Remember how quaint the commercials for Bush's 2004 run for term 2 were ? How they emphasized that he inherreted the double whammy of both a war and a recession ?

Now look at the Dow Jones index for the last 10 years. The market was levelling out for the few months just before Bush took office. Compare it to now where the market has been visibly slipping for the last year or so.

Just so we're all clear that it is Clinton's doing.

Hey Ursty, this post ain't lame like you said on your blog. Very good. I may need someone to fill in for me on Drive-By since I got some community service crapola to take care of over some misunderstanding stuff if you know what I mean.

While they're recruiting economists, they should be talking to Nouriel Roubini, who was right all along, and Paul Krugman, ferchrissakes. And talking less to anyone who considers Milton Friedman to me their mentor.

It all just has me getting my Archie Manning '08 sign out for the front yard.

Nice catch, Oyster, but it looks like the Congresscritters are bound and determined to hand over their Ring of Power to Darth Paulson anyway.

But not to worry, it's not like he won't hand all that money over to China or Dubai or anything.
