I remember when Shrub originally made his "if you say hello to a terrorist then you are a terrorist - justifying us attacking you" speech.
I was talking with someone who is rather hawkish. Both of us were talking and couldn't believe the implications if some country decided to apply that doctrine. Not to mention we could name despots throughout history who could use this doctrine to justify some of the most dispicable behaviors. For that matter, it could be used to fully justify Saddam Hussein who we would eventually overthrow.
Within the next few weeks, Israel stood up in the UN and applied this "doctrine" to justify their actions.
And what about if you use the Rush Limbaugh definition of terrorist (anyone who I don't like). The Shrub "Doctrine" could be used to justify the 9/11 jets as the financial hub is what supports the terrorists.
