Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Today on Tommy T's Obession With The Freeperati - It's just like Christmas!:

Comments

We have a Festivus Pole and a FSM symbol at our statehouse. Washington is a pretty cool state

Milwaukee. where you can buy the official festivus pole.

Eskimo totem poles? WTF? No trees in the arctic.

Teh stupid, burns, etc.

"Eskimo totems poles are a more modern version" WTF?

Totem poles tell stories, represent clan lineages, historic people and things of that nature. I don't recall ever hearing of them being used in they way the freeper mentions. Not to mention that until the arrival of Westerner's there was no alcohol and hence no public drunkeness and hence no drunken orgies. I think the freeper is just feeling left out.

How do you stand going there ?????????

I get so worked up on these so that I usually get stuck trying to dissect the first or second item.

In this case, get confused as I thought Festivus was a Star Trek celebration. Then I see you mention satire.

Then the comments on this (BTW - from the same folks that say the liberals can't see the satire from Chip Saltsman (possible new head of the RNC) passing out greeting cards / CDs with "Barak the Magic Negro".

Then they launch into God is not mocked (which I hold true). But, if anything, this is kidding about the modern trend to change Christmas to a Holiday Celebration featuring every possible religion in the world.

Then they get onto the Festivus pole is the same as Eskimo Totems to be the seat of abortions. If anything, the Totem was seen to **encourage** fertility.

And I'm only a few dozen lines in!

Well, It's like this:

1. I'm going there to gather their posts and expose them to the world outside.
Call it flipping over their rock. They flip out publicly any time anyone mentions FR in any context whatsoever, so imagine their collective alarm when they learn (and they WILL eventually learn) of this wonderful ongoing feature.
Picture a bunch of kids running around shushing each other).

2. In the words of a very great man:

"A walk down the path of history is crunchy with the crispy corpses of those who pooh-poohed or ignored the clown car of ridicule when it pulled-up to the curb"

Stephen Jones

Also, you guys have my back.
I know that if I get overcome by the toxic fumes of bigotry and jingoism, ya'll will grab the rope and pull me out of there.

Tommy

Finally we know why they are blowing up the abortion clinics.

To expose that the buildings are just storefronts concealing the rows of aluminum/totem poles inside where all the abortions happen.
