MARJAH, Afghanistan - How does the world love thee, Sarah Palin? Let me count the ways.
Somewhere in Afghanistan, Marine Gunnery Sgt. Benjamin Lepping pays tribute to the former Alaskan governor with a tattoo on his left butt cheek, according to the Military Times.
CLICK HERE TO SEE THE TATTOO
Lepping, an ordnance disposal expert out of Camp Pendleton, was assigned to Alaska before he went to Afghanistan.
He said he had such a good time, he wanted something to remind him of his time there.
“I decided, ‘What could be better than getting a tattoo of the hottest cougar in the Republican Party?’”He's got a whole 'nother cheek free. Maybe he can put McCain on it.

Activist who challenges Obama's citizenship is booted from Tax Day Tea Party
LA Times ^ | April 15, 2010 | By Seema Mehta
Posted on Thursday, April 15, 2010 1:40:39 PM by Mozilla
Several California Republican political candidates, including Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina and Chuck DeVore, were scheduled to share the stage this week with one of the leaders of the "birther" movement that claims President Obama was not born in this country and is thus ineligible for his elected office.
Orly Taitz, an Orange County attorney who has gone to court many times to try to disqualify Obama, was invited to speak Thursday at a Tax Day Tea Party rally in Pleasanton, Calif., that is expected to draw thousands of people. Late Tuesday, organizers said that they had rescinded Taitz's invitation after questions were raised about her presence by candidates who had been contacted by The Times.
Bridget Melson, founder and president of the Pleasanton Tea Party, said the organization had been "getting calls from candidates like crazy."
"It's not worth it," she said. "She's too controversial. This is not what the tea party is about at this point."
Taitz's lawsuits have been thrown out and lambasted by judges and she has been fined $20,000 for filing frivolous lawsuits. But Taitz, who is now running for secretary of state, was nonetheless invited to speak at Thursday's event, which is expected to be among the largest Tax Day events in the state.
Taitz's invitation -- and uninvitation -- are examples of the complications facing Republicans this year as they try to capture the enthusiasm of the tea party movement without getting sucked into its conspiracy-tinged fringes.
This, of course, is like chocolate ice cream getting sucked into its tasty-tinged fringes.
In a phone interview Tuesday before her invitation was pulled, Taitz dismissed the dust-up over her planned appearance.
"Look, the truth is the truth," she said. "It is important for the public to know. Just like it took some time but Watergate was investigated and there was resolution. By the same token, Obama needs to be investigated."

The Dems and the libs in the media have been successful in painting anyone who questions Obama's legitimacy as fringe crackpots, racists, or worse.
The first response of his enablers is to attack anyone and everyone who asks even the most simple basic question, such as "Why won't Obama show his birth certificate?"
And now it is sad to see so many on the conservative side doing the libs dirty work for them.

Angry Fox News executives reportedly ordered Sean Hannity to abandon plans, announced as late as this afternoon on his nationally syndicated radio program, to broadcast his TV show from a Cincinnati tea-party rally he was headlining.
Hannity, on a book tour for his No. 1 best-seller "Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama's Radical Agenda," was scheduled to be the featured speaker at a four-hour rally at the University of Cincinnati – with as many as 13,000 in attendance. Proceeds from the event were to benefit a local tea-party organization.

NBC: Screw Your Neighbors -- Walking Away from you Mortgage is 'Ethical,' 'Good Business Decision'

Surprise: NBC finally found a business it likes - even a business decision it likes: companies that help homeowners who decide to walk away from their mortgages.
"New figures show foreclosures in the U.S. are up about 35-percent from a year ago," Matt Lauer kicked off an April 20 segment of "Today" that encouraged homeowners - even those financially comfortable - to simply walk away. "And a growing reason why are people who simply choose to walk away from their mortgage even when they can afford it."
"Experian, the credit-monitoring service, says 588,000 borrowers - or 18-percent of those who have defaulted on their mortgages in the past year - did it for strategic reasons and not because they're broke," NBC's George Lewis reported. "It's called a strategic default, walking away from a home and enduring foreclosure out of frustration with a bad investment."

If the bank refuses to do a short sale, it does make sense to walk away and force them to foreclose. You will still be liable for the balance but you don’t have to incur additional losses beyond what it could sell for.

GALT! GALT! GALT!
This next one's a lulu:
To: 198mlOnce upon a time, jobs were ethical. If you did your job, even if you never improved at your job, you kept your job. Sure, you might have limited your promotional potential, but as long as you performed your assigned task - you earned your pay.
Then came the day of ‘do more each year, or we’ll fire you’. No matter how well you did your job; more was demanded each and every year.
Next, we had people who did their job, and then expanded their potential - but it didn’t matter because our Gov’t had created incentives for companies to ship those jobs overseas. Textile industry, tech industry, manufacturing of almost every stripe and what the US Gov’t didn’t destroy, unions did.
So, people who contributed and worked hard at their job; came to work to find that they had been ‘outsourced’ and laid off. Companies closed.
There was a time when the first person who experienced the dreaded RIF (Reduction In Force) was the CEO. Now CEO’s line their pockets by periodically creating a RIF to bump their stock prices.
Meanwhile, the poor worker loses their job, is forced to relocate and sell their house for less than what they purchase it - and then moves their family to an new home, only to experience the same thing .... over and over.
What do you expect? There are a great many professionals who no longer have a retirment fund, stocks or savings account; through no fault of their own.
And then, after stating some uncomfortable facts about how corporations treat their employees, he spins around and nails - the wrong target!
So - the U.S. Congress is in charge of outsourcing, making CEOs line their pockets while your wages stagnate, and squeezing more and more work out of less and less people while profits hit record highs?? Who knew?
Must be the Department Of The Inferior.
To: MplsSteveI wish there were a way in which banks, etc could sue Matt Lauer for offering advice like this. For what purpose? The loan contract states that in the event the homeowner doesn't pay the loan, the bank gets the house. The bank agreed to that up front. That the bank doesn't want the house now because they loaned too much money on an overvalued asset doesn't suddenly make them the victim here.

Will America Accept Slavery Under The Hand Of Obama? Decision Must Be In By December 21, 2012.
Posted on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 4:08:21 PM by Armaggedon
The Obama slavery plan is in place. Just a few more, thousand page bills to pass and America is toast. The plan is simple. He who controls energy controls the source of all wealth. Obama intends to establish a dummy corporation to control energy and wealth under the heavy hand of his government.
Obama has learned the art of satanic magic, which uses the unholy trinity of antichrist spirit to enslave the people. That trinity is hate, lies and death. Obama manipulates the desires and opinions of his subjects through hate and lies. Obama always uses a target to focus his hate and lies. There is always a villan(sic) and some crisis leading to death to alarm the people into hasty and reckless action.
Obama is not alone. He was put into place by those who love and serve Satan's lies from the beginning of the fall of humanity. We are in end times and the masters of black magic know their time is short.
(Burt Reynolds, as Hooper, commenting to a terrified Assistant Director :
"Time is short. And so are you." )
This is their final attempt to establish a one world order and government.
This dictatorship will be imposed upon the people through might and power. Only those who love and serve God in Spirit and in Truth, stand in the way of the usurpers.
Daniel 7:25-26.
"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
But the judgement(sic) shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion to consume and to destroy it unto the end."
When Obama speaks out against those who love and serve the LORD he also speaks out against the most High. We see what a hypocrite and liar, Obama the usurper is. Saints are condemned while Obamas'(sic) violant(sic) supporters are excused and honored.
Obama will not carry on his unholy trinity of hate, lies and death beyond time and times and half a time. That is three and a half years from his inauguration on January 20, 2009. The question before each one of us is, are we going to accept slavery under Obama and share in his plagues? The first year of rule Obama has passed. We are in year two. A time of lies and deceit as Obama places link after link of chain upon America. Year three is to come with famine and rationing.
The half time falls in midst of the fourth year.
And the half time show will be Beelzebub's marching band and fire twirlers!
The cycles move in progression. Water, air, earth and fire.
Year four is fire. When the fire falls, the usurper is consumed. Daniel 7:27.
"And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him."
Hawkeye Pierce : " Frank, were you on this religious kick at home, or did you crack up over here?"
The Christ Trinity is Love, Truth and Life. The LORD seeks those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Can we do this over the next two years, while the usurper Obama prances about the world stage, before his final curtain call?
Let the dead bury the dead. We serve the God of the living saints. The fire prepares to fall from heaven and only those who love and serve God can stand in the divine fire. We are members of a divine body standing in a fire ark. Love God and stand in the Ark.

THE VILLAGES – Karl Rove, chief political strategist for former President George W. Bush, today questioned a controversial new Arizona law designed to cut down on illegal immigration by making it a crime to not produce proof of citizenship when a law enforcement officer demands it.
Rove, speaking to a crowd of about 500 at the mammoth senior community as part of a national book tour, said that while the law is understandable, it does present difficulties. The law has become the nation’s toughest anti-immigration measure.
“I think there is going to be some constitutional problems with the bill,” he said to the standing-room-only crowd at the Colony Cottage Recreation Center. “I wished they hadn’t passed it, in a way.”

Rubio Criticizes Arizona Immigration Law
THE HILL ^ | 04/27/10 12:56 PM ET | Eric Zimmermann
Posted on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 5:09:01 PM by Southnsoul
Florida Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio criticized Arizona's tough new immigration law today, putting him at odds with the national conservative establishment that has aided his meteoric rise.
Rubio said the law could effectively "single out people who are here legally, including U.S. citizens."
The key paragraph from his statement:
States certainly have the right to enact policies to protect their citizens, but Arizona’s policy shows the difficulty and limitations of states trying to act piecemeal to solve what is a serious federal problem. From what I have read in news reports, I do have concerns about this legislation. While I don’t believe Arizona’s policy was based on anything other than trying to get a handle on our broken borders, I think aspects of the law, especially that dealing with ‘reasonable suspicion,’ are going to put our law enforcement officers in an incredibly difficult position. It could also unreasonably single out people who are here legally, including many American citizens. Throughout American history and throughout this administration we have seen that when government is given an inch it takes a mile.
While many prominent conservatives have praised the law, Florida is home to a large Hispanic population, including a large immigration population, that often votes Republican due to concerns about Cuba.
