The outlook isn't great for our side but, hey, the Dems can hold the Senate and obstruct the hell out of the Goopers for two years. I'm hoping that there will be some pleasant surprises but it's hard not to be gloomy when candidates as good as Russ Feingold and Joe Sestak are on the ropes.
I'll be off to vote against Bitter Vitter in an hour or so. I don't expect long lines because folks in Orleans Parish have got the blue in a red state blues. Oh well, the Dems are likely to pickup the Louisiana Second District seat, which is better than nothing.
