Also, as I said in comments when this was first mentioned, what this says is that Walker's used to taking jokey calls from rich assholes in which they call attractive broadcasters hot pieces of ass and kid around about stuff that means people's lives.
It's not that what he said was all that new, given what anyone with a pair of eyes can see, it's that at no point during this call, during all these monstrous things, did Walker even THINK this might be a prank. At no point did he say, wait a minute, this person is rather a douche, and excuse me but who are you? No, he giggled along with casual discussions of smashing the entire state's underpinnings like he talks to people like this a thousand times a day.
A lot of his defenders spent the day pointing out that most of Walker's comments aren't anything new, and that the blogger actually comes off far worse for saying all those horrible things, and that's the entire goddamn point. Walker is someone who is totally used to being around people who say shit like that, so used to it he didn't even question whether the call was real. That's the real news here: That this guy is even more of an asshole than everybody who already hates him thought he was.

One of the first blog-based books, the anthology Special Plans examines Feith's role in misleading America into war. Buy from
I found his breezy bullshit rather chilling. He's a sociopath--he'll bring it down around his ears rather than budge.

The only union Walker is going to hurt is the gravediggers' union, as he digs his own.
And as long as I'm indulging in inflammatory rhetoric, my favorite sign at the protests: Dead Man Walker.

Well of course. That's the point. He's chummy with these people. Fuckitall, Walker even mentioned to Fake Koch "your guy on the ground" (I transcribed part of the phone call). He talks about all the new governors elected "to do something big."
It's the fucking VRWC right here, laid out for all to see. And he's an arrogant asshole who of course expected this call from the GOPs new kingmaker.

I was wondering how Ian Murphy got through to Walker (tho remember Sarah Palin was easily punk'd by a Canadian radio comedian, but then Palin's operation was always a joke anyway). And then I read this:
"First, it's remarkable Ian Murphy, pretending to be Koch, even got through. He talked to Walker's chief of staff, Keith Gilkes, and said he couldn't leave a return number because, "My goddamn maid, Maria, put my phone in the washer. I'd have her deported, but she works for next to nothing." This, oddly enough, led Gilkes to invite "Koch" to call back and speak directly to the governor."
I mean, Oh. My. God.

Would it be wrong to call Walker a Koch Sucker?
