You be very careful tip toeing in and out of there, Tommy. I suspect JimRob is going to take the next batch of returnable bottles from the Freeperthon and invest in proximity detectors that go off stridently when any one with self awareness or critical thinking skills tries to sneak in.

Peacock and Iguana (or whatever type of reptile it is), cool. As for the rest, wait...they were against Gingrich before they were for him?

Apropos of nothing much, tap dancing Jesus an a cracker ALWAYS makes my day :)

OK, folks.

Don't make me shoot the damned duck.

Thanks Tommy T! Hope you're rested! It's gonna be a long time til Nov!

I'm not commenting about your lovely vacation photos because, secretly, deep in my heart, I hate you because I didn't go on such a lovely vacation.

They are quite lovely, by the way. I particularly liked the iguana (your picture, not the FR commenters)

The Freepi are getting so bizarre I’m going to have to start adding footnotes.

To: GeronL; Sudetenland [1] I guess you think everyone on FR who supports Gingrich is an idiot.

[2] I would be very, very careful in answering that question. JimRob doesn't share your disdain for Newt And neither do I.

[January 20, 2012 6:01:54 PM by Yankee (ANNOY THE RNC AND THE MEDIA: NOMINATE NEWT GINGRICH!)]

[1] True. As are all those in South Freepistan who don’t support the Newt, and any other Newt supporter who is not rooting for an extra-big Democratic blowout in November.

[2] I’m glad to see that free speech lives on in South Freepistan.

[1] The rules for “vetting” are very different for Republican candidates. We’ve already seen murky allegations from Herman Cain’s past assigned a level of instant credibility that would never have been granted if he were a black Democrat. Even after a much more serious accusation of a long-running consensual affair caused Cain to suspend his campaign, we still don’t know exactly what the initial “sexual harassment” accusers complained about.

[2] Who knows what CNN might be able to discover about Barack Obama, if they bothered to look for some of his records with the intensity reserved for Republicans’ sealed divorce papers? [December 27, 2011 11:07:00 AM by Smokeyblue]

[1] I seem to remember something about his shoving his hand up one accuser’s dress, trying to push her face into his crotch, and asking whether she wanted a job. I really don’t want to know any more “exactly” what she complained about.

[2] That he was born in Hawaii? And why is it that Republicans seem to have so many more sealed divorce papers than Democrats? Family values?

Did he originally back Bachmann because he thought she could win? What does this say about him? [December 29, 2011 12:38:39 PM by PieterCasparzen]

That he’s as batshit crazy as she is?

[1] I agree, Newt learned a valuable lesson, and is going to hit back hard now, and unlike Perry, Gingrich is articulate enough to destroy Romney oratorically with half his brain tied behind his back.

[2] This is going to be fun to watch.

[3] Go Newt! [January 03, 2012 12:00:15 AM by TexasFreeper2009 (Go Newt!)]

[1] Apparently he does have half his brain tied behind his back, and the other half tied in front.

[2] Yes, it was.

[3] Yes, please go, but not until about November.

Adopting lefty falsehoods and playing victim again. Somebody please remove Newt's feet from his mouth. [January 02, 2012 11:03:41 PM by calcowgirl ("Sapere Aude!" --Immanuel Kant)]

Even with my newly refurbished iso suit I’m not going near the Newt’s feet or mouth.

I’m glad Tommy and Barbara had a (well deserved) vacation. Loved the photos. Did I see the trickle-down effect, a deficit peacock, a striped Newt, and the elusive comb-over trumpeter? Maybe I have to send the iso suit back under warrantee.
