There is a stage production of this, and someone in New Orleans needs to buy the rights and do it in a bar.
By the way, I finally got a copy of Pia Zadora's "lost" movie, "Desert Heat," which was done about three decades after this star turn and features her as a glamorous Las Vegas lounge singer who goes to a women's prison. Co-stars Desi Arnaz Jr. and Telly Savalas. MST3K could have fun with it.
