ELO is one of my musical guilty pleasures. Their snappy pop confections can be irresistible and they made at least one classic elpee, Eldorado. Here's ELO front man, Jeff Lynne, with a killer acoustic version of the big hit from that album:

The Hives "Go Right Ahead" credits Lynne on a song released this year because they realized after it was recorded that the main riff was "Don't Bring Me Down." http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6NQx2R4jO7I
