What was the last purchase you made?
We've got some friends coming in this weekend so I stocked the fridge with food and beer.

Veggie combo pizza (no cheese, add garlic) from the joint across the street. They do nice work. (Last non-food purchases were anniversary/Valentine gifts for my wife.)

Small bean salad thing from the Union South deli for lunch yesterday. Jude bought me a croissant this morning, though, because he is still best pony.

Just back from the local farmer's market -- bread (baguette) tomatoes and green onions this week. Am about to make a major purchase, though: after two years of using a $50 toaster oven, I'm replacing the regular oven this week.
Will also be buying wine and general groceries today. In that order. Priorities.

Got a couple skeins of regionally produced yarn yesterday and needles to match. Now, I have to get card stock to make a card - a friend who wants to learn to knit is getting lessons and provisions as a birthday present.
Headed to Nashville in a bit to do our monthly "groceries you can't buy in the armpit of Kentucky" run. Will make a brief stopover in St. Elmo, KY for some local bourbon and rum from MB Roland Distillery.

It's the annual 20% off bag sale at Ace Hardware and I got, as I always do this time of year, the filters for our humidifier.
My life sucks.

Last non-food purchase was some cleaning wipes and a plastic drain thing for the sink.
About to make major purchase of a new office chair to replace one bought in 1994. I've looked at the local Staples and almost all the chairs are black and very office-looking. The chair I'm replacing I bought from Quill and I'll check their web site later today.

Heading out to Dwight's for a plate lunch of barbeque with corn bread and then off to Harbor Freight for some spade tip drill bits to get our kitchen table clear of computers by moving the network routers and Wi-Fi to the attic. While I do miss the NFL, I definitely get a lot more done off-season.

Cat litter for them, because they were giving me the stink eye. A cuke and a tomato for my favorite taboule salad.
