OK, folks - time to spin that airlock wheel and enter the iso chamber of horrors. Don't worry - it won't hurt - much.
First up - for whom the bell trolls!
Bob Woodward trolled us The Daily Caller ^ | 3/28/13 | Matt K. LewisPosted on Thursday, February 28, 2013 2:49:06 PM by Nachum
Twitter exploded last night, after Bob Woodward revealed that White House official had warned him he would “regret” saying Obama had moved the goal posts on sequestration.
Predictably, conservatives latched onto this, as it confirmed our suspicion about the Obama Administration’s “Chicago-style” of politics. A lot of mainstream journalists bought into this, too — reflexively believing anything the great Bob Woodward says.
Of course, Woodward (who was expert at trolling for publicity before the internet even existed), benefits greatly from the publicity (nothing sells books like controversy).
To: Nachum; AllNo, Woodward did not troll us.
What is being lost in all of this, is that Woodward got about a 30 minute earful from the White House, and that earful wasn’t whispered sweet nothings, either.
And Lanny davis and Fournier have been on the receiving end, too.

I don’t think that it is the Chicago way, actually, I think it is Hillary’s revenge.
Watch all of those who are loyal to her line up against the Obamas.

To: NachumSour grapes Matt? No. Just a sensible analysis of the facts.
When I saw conservatives start to drool over Woodward, I suspected we were being played. He probably sold 10,000 books from people who wouldn't have considered it before his big "break" from the administration.

Colin Powell Slams ‘Idiot Presentations’ by Some Republicans, Urges GOP Leaders to ‘Speak Out’
In an interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos during ABC’s special inauguration day coverage this morning, former Secretary of State Colin Powell lashed out at people in the Republican Party who spent the last four years spreading “birther nonsense” and other “things that demonize the president,” calling on GOP leaders to denounce such talk — publicly.
“Republicans have to stop buying into things that demonize the president. I mean, why aren’t Republican leaders shouting out about all this birther nonsense and all these other things? They should speak out. This is the kind of intolerance that I’ve been talking about where these idiot presentations continue to be made and you don’t see the senior leadership of the party say, ‘No, that’s wrong.’ In fact, sometimes by not speaking out, they’re encouraging it. And the base keeps buying the stuff.
“And it’s killing the base of the party. I mean, 26 percent favorability rating for the party right now. It ought to be telling them something. So, instead of attacking me or whoever speaks like I do, look in the mirror and realize, ‘How are we going to win the next election?”

Sarah Palin Out At Fox News Channel

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Fox News Channel are parting ways, according to a report in Real Clear Politics. After three years as a paid contributor for the channel, FNC and the former Republican vice presidential nominee have decided to cut ties.
A source close to Palin told Real Clear Politics that it was the governor’s decision not to renew their contract.
*“It’s my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by FOX, and she decided not to renew the arrangement,” the source close to Palin told RCP. “She remains focused on broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country and will be expanding her voice in the national discussion.”
************************
How long till they offer a slot to Al Gore?
To: NachumGood for her. I don’t watch them anymore. Nothing there left to watch.
To: NachumI would imagine that ALL the MSM news channels will carry this tonight as it is an opportunity to “Gloat over the corpse” of what they think is Sarah Palin’s dead career...
To: svcw; onyxI think we’ll be seeing a lot more of Mrs. Palin over
the next few years.Palin UNCHAINED!
To: Biggirl
"Not surprised. Fox News is pretty much has become center-left."Conservatives with more than two active brain cells left FoxNews in 2007, when they swung to The Mulatto Messiah and the Left.
Are we talking about the same FOX news? And "Mulato Messiah"? Why not just call him an octaroon and be done with it?
Palin is not going to be on the same panel as Dennis Kookcinich (a new Hire at FN), and she sees what we all have seen in the State-Run-Media, including FN.

To: ResettozeroThe contract was probably for less. This is no victory for Palin. Even though there are those trying to pretend it is.
Palin has been out of the loop a long time now.
To: BullishThey just renewed with Carl Rove through 2016, and now this?

To: Jane LongI may be one of the few, I agree with Palin on lots but when she quit as Gov. due to the “press” she quite being a viable candidate to me.
She can be a leader in many ways but not a candidate.
you may all now yell and flame me but, if you cant stand the attack press of ALASKA I have doubts about how you will fair(sic) in DC. (maybe as Senator as the one from there just went stupider)
..To: Bidimus124 I may be one of the few, I agree with Palin on lots but when she quit as Gov. due to the “press” she quite being a viable candidate to me. ...Agreed. It is apparent to me that she has not invested her time in becoming more informed. I wish her and her family well. She is great as a cheerleader, and I mean that positively, but she does not have gravitas. The media crucified Gingrich. I don't see her overcoming them in a campaign.

To: Bidimus1I’m sorry but you are clueless!!! Sarah didn’t resign because of the press, she resign because the democrats were trying to bankrupt her by filling frivilous and fake ethical charges against her. She said that the time to personally defend herself legally well over 20 charges and more that were coming was taking a toll on the state business. The Republicans there hated her and didn’t want to come to her aid either. She sacrifice(sic) herself so that the State could move forward. You are embarrassing

Herman Cain Joins Fox News

Well, Fox News needed to fill the void left by Sarah Palin's absence ... so the network hired Herman Cain as a contributor, it announced today. Cain, the former president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza, will also contribute to the Fox Business Network. He says he's looking forward to the job because it is "an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America." Fox has been shuffling its contributor lineup since the election, also recently hiring Dennis Kucinich and Scott Brown.***************************************
To: MozillaWhat difference, at this point, does it make?
Erudition by sound bite is impossible.
No one who should hear him will be listening, anyway.

To: DaculaStopped watching FNC, glad that I did with this addition. Does he still have his “999 Plan”? He was in way over his head. When he denide(sic) having something on the side Ms. White, I knew that he was guilty. You see, back in the day, a “High Yellow Woman”, got and received all of the attention.

Herman Cain was never, ever, ever meant to host a radio talk show. It's painful to listen to him, IMO.

In talking with a friend who is clinically psychotic, even his words have some string of coherrence that I can latch on to.
But the Freepers. Living in a world where Woodward's exposure of Watergate was a partisan hack. Where Faux News went for Obama in 2007.?????????????????
Also I've never understood something from the moment that Rush came out with "half-rican". Using census criteria, 1/2 black = black. And while I get that they want to avoid to appear to jump on Obama because he is black, what is the logic in using Mulatto / half-rican/etc. as if these were worse than being black ?

Love that cry of "Palin Unchained!". Every time she quits or gets fired, the "Palin Unchained!" chorus starts up. Because now that she's not a governor / VP / campaigner for President / Fox News pundit, she's free to be a true leader! Or join Dancing With the Stars! Or ... whatever!
