Mixed metaphor bingo, part veinte:
Shit, or cut bait/Fish, or get off the pot.

If only the stupid burned as much as it's supposed to. You'd be able to spot a Freeper by his deep thought processes constantly being interrupted by yelps of pain.

Frist!

Nice job Tommy. I enjoyed the mixed metaphor bingo.

Say judge, we are reading that cancer patients are being turned away from clinics because of budget cuts. Will you now order the F.D.A. to provide the clinics with the cancer drugs? [April 05, 2013 7:52:34 AM by Enterprise ("Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." Voltaire)]

I'm going to frame that tag line and hang it on my wall so I keep it in mind whenever I wander into South Freepistan.

I'm baffled at how Enterprise leapt from the notion that the FDA would have to approve over-the-counter sales of Plan B to the conclusion that they would have to supply free cancer drugs. I guess somewhere in the middle must be the idea that the FDA must provide free Plan B. Maybe that's where the tag line comes in. I'm still baffled.

But I thought you guys hated giving the poors cancer treatment? Takers and such. [Tommy T]

Precisely. That's why Enterprise is so upset that the FDA will now have to provide the treatment free.

What’s to explain? DHS didn’t purchase them [the tanks], the Marines did. [April 05, 2013 8:43:47 AM by 1rudeboy]

I saw one of those threads. The rebuttal was something on the order of: "They [the tanks] could easily be transferred from the Marines to DHS. All it takes is the stroke of a pen. [So obviously they were transferred, I guess.] So once again, what is DHS going to do with them?" And we're back to Enterprise's tag line.

If only the stupid burned as much as it's supposed to. You'd be able to spot a Freeper by his deep thought processes constantly being interrupted by yelps of pain. [gratuitous]

It does burn that much and more. The problem is that the source is immune, so only innocent bystanders feel the pain. That's why Tommy has to keep ordering new hazmat suits.
